Riley Road,Bermondsey, London, Thursday 20th January 2011

Number thirteen Riley road was no different to any other house, Riley road had thirteen houses on one side and thirteen houses on the other and number thirteen was in the middle and looked just like number eleven on the left and just like number fifteen on the right.

It was a three bedroom terraced house in the middle of a quiet street with white UPVC windows and a white UPVC door, a small concreted front garden which led out to a short brick wall.

With the door of number thirteen open the hall looked like any other hall with pictures adorning the walls and a staircase on the right leading to the upstairs bedrooms.

The living room however resembled something like a space aged NASA control centre, full of electrical wired along the floor, a large remote Satellite dish was up against the back wall and at the work station were no less than seven computer monitors flickering away.

There was some resemblance in places of a domestic house, such as the three piece suite and terrestrial television and a coffee table in front of the sofa which was stacked with empty and half empty delivered Pizza boxes from days ago.

But this was no normal house in this very normal street, it was owned by an organisation who worked specifically in the art of surveillance, often for the government but sometimes to the highest bidder and the government would never admit to any alliance to such a secretive organisation who's employees were former MI5 and MI6  agents alongside many former SAS soldiers.

Unlike a NASA control room there was a solitary figure in this room staring at five of the seven pc monitors, the original genius insomniac who those who worked with him knew as 'The eye' because of his extraordinary ability and skill which meant that he could hack into almost any computer in the world from his chair and just as importantly almost any of the three thousand or so Satellites orbiting the earth and could either watch events happening around the entire globe or could guide he colleagues from above and even warn them of impeding danger.

His name was David Stringer, the eye in the sky.

Stringer was at this time thirty six years of age and had previously spent six years working for the Intelligence corps prior to him joining this agency where he learned to hone in his unique skills over the past thirteen year.

He stood at just five feet seven inches in height with short brown hair and a centre parting which provided the curtains above his face.

He wore very strongly magnified glasses which made his eyes seem almost twice the size they really were, David Stringer was a an odd looking man to say the very least.

He was sitting at the work station in his control room watching not one pc screen but was actually concentrating on five, all had different files or images but all were linked to something specific and only the mind of a David Stringer could work on each of them individually but link them together, they had been a path to what he was staring at now.

On one monitor he had a file showing which was in fact top secret and had emanated from new Scotland yard, somewhere which Stringer was often hacking into and this file was connected to the case of the missing four thousand homeless which had been callously dubbed so because it was believed that in London there were approximately four thousand homeless people and although obviously not all of them had been abducted, but because it was still happening somebody somewhere gave it this tasteless title.

The next monitor along showed an image of the secret army barracks in Banawa, Indonesia with blueprint tunnel systems, something that no intelligence agency had ever discovered before.

The third monitor was showing the home page of an on line dating site and in particular Stringer had paid attention to a box marked 'Administration' which he had since hacked into by mathematically working out the code and once inside he had discovered what was showing on his fourth pc monitor.

When he had read the top secret files from New Scotland yard he had soon discovered that they had intelligence suggesting that blonde European women were being held at the base on the Indonesian island as a result of human Trafficking.

The blueprints David Stringer had discovered himself via an Indonesian military hacking session and had found this recent addition to the data that he had collected.

Stringer had found somebody else connected from the UK and at first because of the obvious technological skills he had presumed that this new name was doing something similar to himself, just not on such a high level but when he dug deeper his discovery would shock even him.

He had tracked down an IP address from the computer (Internet Protocol address) which is a numerical label assigned to every computer world wide and fortunately for him, unlike his own this one was fixed so he could track everything the computer in question performed as a function.

At first Stringer didn't understand because this person was either a government or non government agent or somebody connected to Banawa or the trafficking ring itself and yet now he was staring at an internet dating site which had been created and was still in operation from the same IP address.

On his third monitor David Stringer had an image of the home page of 'Love me do dating agency' and without a doubt there had been no mistake on his part, this dating site had been created on that same computer which had itself logged onto the dating site just yesterday.

As he studied the site he became more and more confused because to join the site was extortionately expensive and the sample images of the women and men were not really model like as they were on other sites and he sat back.  ?It's as if you are encouraging people not to sign up.?  He said to himself as he stared at the screen.

Stringer noticed that there was an administration login of which it took him about three minutes to decode and hack into and as soon as he touched the  'enter' button on his keyboard he stared at the screen with temporary confusion, Stringer was now looking at a website buried inside the internet dating site.  ?What have we got here??

He clicked on the professionally built site and then clicked on a couple of images of women walking into shops, standing at bus stops, getting into cabs, walking in parks and wondered one thing, why did they all have a numerical figure imposed on the screen below the image and for some reason he went back to a particular image of a woman walking into a grocery store and studied it.

After a few moments Stringer sat bolt upright and stared at the image again and then at the numbers imposed under her image.  ?Whoa!?  He said out loud as he finally worked it out.

Stringer picked up his mobile telephone and searched for a particular number and called it.

After a few moments he looked back at his fourth pc screen and a cold chill ran down his spine. ?Richard, I've found something that you really need to see.?  Stringer told his former colleague who had recently come to him for help as his sister Sasha who had been working in a soup kitchen for the homeless had disappeared and Richard Willows feared the worst.

He said something to Stringer, an enquiry as to what he had discovered as Stringer continued to stare at his pc screen in horror.  ?I found the Indigo auction site.?  He coldly told his old pal.  ?There are women on my pc screen shopping, waiting for their bus or on their way to work and they don't even know it.?  He continued to explain to Richard Willows who asked  'Know what?'

Stringer took in a deep breath.  ?That they're for sale Richard!?  Stringer told him.

The conversation continued for a few more minutes until Stringer asked his old pal to meet him at a greasy spoon caf? tomorrow at eleven in the morning.
